I've only recently learnt how to rip the subtitles from a DVDs .IFO file using VobSub and then filtering them in and frameserving with VirtualDub to make a VCD with TMpgEnc.
I've manged to do this on several english language films containing subtitles for foreign language bits or lines... But now I'm stuck... I've been trying to get the subtitles for a WorldWar2 film which has got subtitles for the German speaking bits... I've tried extracting ALL 30 odd subtitle streams from the IFO file, but all I end up with is either:
--- subtitles ALL the way through the film, for the two English Sub-Streams
or
--- NO subtitles at all, for the remaining Sub-Streams....

Surely there must be something contained on the disc that gives Subtitles only for the German bits... I've watched it on a standalone to confirm this...
Can anyone explain whats going on here & how to ovecome it...
