  1. Hey
After a conversion from avi to mpg I have cut the movie into 2 CD's. But on my DVD maschine the picture is located in the upper left corner, and the sound is terrible, eventhough it looks great on the PC. Can anyone help me? Something wrong with the conversion format?

  2. What this MAY be, is that u may have created a MPEG-2 video, and burnt it as a VCD instead of a SVCD. I know that i have had this problem when i have created a mpeg2 video and burnt it as a vcd instead of a SVCD.

  3. I am pretty sure that I have created a MPEG-1. I checked the properties of the mpeg before I Burned. Can it have something to do with the resolution I used?
    Thanks for your reply.

Yes, the resolution could have caused your problem, but it's a little unlikely. I asume that you have used a resolution of 352x288 (PAL) or 352x240 (NTSC) for your vcd. But if u have used a resolutin below that or a reslotion that is not 4:3, the picture on your tv will have problems like u discribed.
