  1. Got a split avi im trying to convert to mpeg1, with the source avi ive ripped the audio and converted it to a wav format using vdub, also using vdub ive made a file with just the visual to minimise any errors.

With the visual and the wav file I use tmpeng to create the mpeg1, which plays ok until 20 mins through then it goes out of synch!

I never had synch issues in the past, -I used to choose create pal vcd even though the avi was ntsc (didnt know not to then), and the only problem I had was jerky playback.

Anyone else have this problem? Its a OpenDML AVI DivX 3 Low-Motion avi, and its really, really, pissing me off!

    Regards

Did you scan the video stream for errors before doing anything else?
