This is my first time trying to burn a SVCD, and I keep getting the same problem. I followed the steps on this page, using TMPGEnc to convert the .avi to mpeg-2. I also used the instructions to burn an SVCD using NERO. But every time I get ready to burn, I drag and drop the file, it goes through the adding files bit, and at the end I always get the same error message. It says:
"The file "xxx" is invalid, need MPEG-2 which was encoded for Super Video CD:
audio: 44.1 kHz MPEG-1/2, layer2;
stereo/ dual channel/multi channel
video: 480x480 at 29.97 Hz or 480x576 at 25 Hz
The following problems were found:
-invalid video stream: 29.97 frames/second, 480x480 pixels
You are creating a Super Video CD V1.0 compliant CD, but the MPEG file is not suitable for such a disk."
I've tried different things, and always get the same result. What am I missing? How can I fix this? Im not sure how to change frames/second, or what exactly it should be. Or how many pixels I'm supposed to have. Or is it something else entirely? Please help!
