I know that Disc-at-Once is usually used with burning audio CDs. But is it necessary for making XVCDs? It is unchecked by default in the "complilation" area and Nero states that DAO is not useful or supported. I did a search and I could not find the answer to this question.

I used to burn VCD's in DAO with NERO, and recently (about 4 VCD's ago disabled it to use TAO, and I notice no difference whatsoever.

Thanks. So, basically this feature will have no effect on whether it plays properly or not? I haven't been using it. I have version 5.5.03

I'm sure there are a couple DVD players that need DAO or TAO specifically, but my cheapy Sanyo 6040 plays both just fine

If you havent been using it, and it works fine, then leave it alone - if it ain't broke dont fix it
