I have found that I cannot capture without losing frames with the DC10+. I lose constantly 2 frames per minute at 352*288 with 44KHz 16 bit sound, which is not much but annoying.
I do not have this problem if I capture with my Asus V7700 Deluxe GTS where I can capture with zero frames lost. This seems to indicate that the HD & system is capable of performing the task and others I have spoken to have much lesser systems and are able to capture with no frames lost.
The system I am using has a DC10+ on a PIII 1Ghz system with an Asus CUSL2-C motherboard and an Asus V7700 GTS Deluxe video card with 512 MB memory and a separate HD (IBM Deskstar) to capture video. The sound card is a SoundBlaster Live (standard).
I have tried re-assigning interrupts etc but this has not helped at all.
Does anyone have any suggestions which may solve this problem?
