  1. Hi,
    I burn mpeg to cdr or cdrw but the dvd/vcd player doesnt like it.in other words it will not play it.any help would be
    very helpfull...thx

  2. You can't just burn the MPEG file as a ISO data file to the CDR and have your DVD player read it. Take a look under 'Author' to the left for ways to burn.

  3. yea and Y not? Y would making an ISO of a VCD then burn the ISO to another black disk not work? An ISO is an EXACT image of the origionaL.

  5. He is referring to ISO in the sense of the ISO9660 standard for writing data files to a disk using a FAT-type 8.3 filesystem, not an ISO disc image file.

    If you just start your burning software, select data CD, and drop your MPEG file into the filesystem, you are creating a data CD, not a VideoCD.

    Like Vejita-sama said, read the authoring guides.
