  1. I am using the tool DVD2SVCD to re-encode movies which are to big to fit on DVD-R, i usually either use DVD2ONE or Instant Copy but from experience 3 Hour + movies dont look as good as they should using those programs, so i wanted to go the CCE route.

Anyway i have done many PAL movies with SVD2SVCD with no problems i just import the AC3, and M2V file it gives me into spruce up, the problem i am having is with NTSC movies whenever i encode a NTSC movie (done about 5 times now) when i try to import into spruce it says invalid framerate@~?

so what i am asking is how do i fix this? or is there anouther way to burn the AC3 and M2V without problems

    Thanks in advance

  2. For DVD, NTSC movies must be 29.97fps. I would guess you are encoding your movies at NTSCfilm framerate of 23.97fps. To fix this use pilldown.exe (from the tools section) to add the required flags to make your .m2v play at 29.97fps. This is a command line (dos) tool. The syntax of the command is simply:

    c:> pulldown input.m2v output.m2v.

Note, it only works on a m2v video only stream, not one multiplexed with audio.

    Hope this helps.
