    Just looking for some advice on how to author a dvd with menus using vob files. The source disc I got the vob files from never had any menus, but I would like to create my own and then re-burn. I realize I will probably have to demux the files into an audio and video file, but is there a simple authoring tool that I can then use to create menus and drop in the demuxed files?

    Try DVD Maestro - their is a really good guide @ Doom9.org

    Not sure if you can add VOBs directly - worth a try though.

    .VOB may not be used directly..
    DEMUX and add to authoing "ASSETS"
