I need help real bad. I thought I did everything correct in trying to burn my first divx or avi to vcd, but after the first ten discs one actually worked in my dvd player. My player can play cd/cdrw, and vcd, as well. So I know I am alright there. I just need, I guess, some guidanace with a step by step approach so I can burn the rest of my media correctly. The FIRST time. Here are a couple of examples that had made me mad no video and no sound. I know everyone has had these problems before, but where do I start step by step so everything is correct? Do I have too many codecs as well? Are there cdr are that are actually different in players as conversion capabilities? spelling....Oh what about converting to wave with virtual dub. I don't understand. This all seems like great software, but I am tired of wasting disc. Maybe im too stupid too get more than one working correctly. I would apprecaite any assistance at all.
