I have been having a problem capturing with vdub. I'm getting a lot of dropped frames, and I really shouldn't be. I have two systems, one thats a PIII 600 running windows 2000, and that captures fine, but the other one is an AMD 1.2mhz Thunderbird, with an ATA100. When I try to capture with the 1.2 mhz computer, with the same Vdub settings, I get tons of dropped frames. The 1.2 is running windows ME. I notice that it's not taking a lot of cpu cycles to capture, around 20% or so, but it's dropping frames like crazy. I'm capturing from a satellite feed. One thing I noticed, eventhough I have the frame rate set at 29.97, it's going up to like 33 to 34 frames per second at times. Someone please advice.
Thanks.

Oh, one more thing, I'm using the PicVideo codec for capturing, setting at 18.
