V.DUB problem

Just downloaded not another teen movie ,and after i have saved it and then opened file in V.DUB i get a message saying "virtual dub has detected an improper V.B.R audio encoding in the source avi file and will rewrite the audio header with standard C.B.R. values during processing for better compatability.This may introduce up to 18407m.s. of skew from the video stream. If this is un acceptable decompress the entire audio stream to an un compressed wav file and recompress with a constant bitrate encoder (bitrate 128.3 +/- 16.7 kbps)
could any body shed any light on this as i am completely baffled

Try the virtualdub mp3 freeze version
It's a modified version of Virtualdub that is compatible with VBR mp3 audio.
