A week ago I did a complete format and clean install of the OS.
I've reinstalled TMPGEnc Plus v2.5, but so far its crashed every
attempt to encode. These are errors within the .exe file.

I remember when this happened before, I changed some settings
under the VFAPI plug-in tab. For the life of me, I can't remember
what they were. Are there definitive settings under this tab?

On the same note, is there a guide for all the settings in TMPGEnc
as well as VirturalDub? I've never gone thru these programs with
the idea of optimizing the settings.

    TIA
    Why doesn't this work?

You might have bad frames in your source file.

I'll definitely give that a try. If I recall correctly, I changed more than
just this setting. What settings should I use for the other ones?

    Thanks again!
