It seems that Pinnacle Express is finally shipping. See: https://instore.pinnaclesys.com/Products/view.asp?FamID=14&SBProdID=223&ProdID=223
It has technology included from Philips for making VCD, SVCD and DVD.
Does anybody have experience with this software?
If so, is it a good replacement for the combination of TMPGENC and Nero/WinOnCD for making SVCDs with menus?
I have StudioDV which does not produce good quality SVCD output (the MPEG2 encoder is not as good as TMPGENC). According to the Pinnacle webboards, Pinnacle Express seems to have a much better MPEG2 encoder than currently included in StudioDV 1.26. Does this Pinnacle Express MPEG2 encoder come near TMPGENC?
