I use VDUB-mp3 to scan for bad frames (none found) and I save the AVI. I then use the AVI as the audio and video source in TMPGEnc. After I choose my settings,(2pass VBR). I click start. When I do I get the error message "write error occurred at address 77fs2109 of module 'ntdll.dll' with 00000000."
Does anyone know what that is all about Thanks.

This link seems to be telling me to download codecs. If I can play the movie then I should have the proper codec installed, correct? Have you received the error message I posted? What exactly do I need to download to be able to encode a xvid?

Try D/L'ing the latest XviD codec, see If that helps.

  5. Tyr and D/L FFDShow from Divx Digest. This particular codec pack will allow you to get the Xvid codec and seems to solve a lot of problems!

Well, I downloaded ffdshow and tried again to encode my movie, but I got the same error message. Was I supposed to do anything other than install ffdshow? Thats all I did. If I was supposed to load it in a particular place or something can you let me know. If not does anyone else have any other suggestions on how I might encode a XVID using TMPGEnc.

I had the same problem before converting Xvid encoded files too. What you will end up having to do is delete TMPGEnc & reinstall it. After doing so, use this guide to straighten you out:

    Hope it helps!
