Yes, I'm a newbie. I have searched the forums and could not find an answer to this problem I am having. First off, I think my problem might be macrovision related but want confirmation from someone with more experience than me. I have a sat. box connected to a video blaster digital vcr. I can capture pay per view movies fine and play them back perfectly in Creative's proprietary file format. Next, I export the files to mpeg format. Finally, I use Ulead's Moviefactory and add the mpeg video file to the project. When I preview the project prior to burning in Moviefactory, all looks perfect. The final product gives a flicker every 3 seconds (looks like the picture tweeks back a couple of frames). I have done this same sequence with generic network shows without any problem. Does this sound like a macrovision problem with the pay per view broadcast? If so, any suggestions on "improving" the final output? Why does it look perfect in the Moviefactory preview and not on the final DVD?
Thanks in advance for any replies

Thanks for the quick reply. I don't quite understand your reply of reading the sequence pulldown but I will search and read some more - I understand newbies have to make an effort. Thanks again - additional posts are welcome.
