I hate splitting hairs, but if he follows your instructions to the letter, he will have "mooned" his DVD player. To "flash" it, he must not turn around.

Sergio if you can't take a joke without resorting to profanity than you will be banned from this forum.
The best way to get your questions answered is to give a clear statement regarding your problem. You say you want to flash your bios, but to what? For what purpose? If you just want to upgrade to the latest firmware than of course you have to contact the manufacturer of the player. Your question has already been answered.
If you are looking for something specific like region hacking, macrovision removal, etc... than you need to tell us that otherwise there is no way to help you no matter how many times you post your question. -
...and to STOP YELLING MIGHT ALSO HELP!

It's is very easy. Go to the Pioneer web site, then goto the support section. From here you should be able to find information on Flashing etc.
If that fails, simply contact technical support via the Pionner web site.
Here is a link the Pioneers UK Support/Download site.

Then there may not be an upgrade available, sorry. Try searching on Yahoo! or Altavista, you could find a hacked copy of your firmware; that is if your stand alone CAN be upgraded.

you can not flash pioneer standalone dvd players w/ the 3x3 , 4x4, 5x5 models .. there are non upgradable .. without replacing the chips .. which costs more than what they cost ..
plus there is no reason to upgrade and even on players that are upgradeable (there are many) -- often times you lose features instead of gaining and you cant go back ..
