I just bought Instant Copy and trying to convert my X-men video..... the problem i am having is that when the conversion is done, the movie is only 3.2 gigs in size. This is just the movie and not the extras. I have manually set it to be 4.3 gigs. For some reason it dont wanna be that big. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the video up to 4.3 gigs instead of losing quality and size of my film ?

Make the movie % bigger, and pass to the red zone and press F5 to re-enable the "OK" button. Trial and error it's what you have to do. I would choose around 4.5Gigs.

Thanks for the reply..... i have moved the slider to the 4.3 gig mark .... i didnt know about hitting F-5 to re-enable the "OK" button. That was a good tip and trick.... thanks. But when the slider is 4.3 gigs it only gives me 3.2 gigs after all is said and done. Now if i go to 4.5 or 4.6 gigs on the slider then that is only .2 - .3 gigs higher than normal .....that will only give me 3.4 or 3.5 gigs higher after all is said and done....... is there something i am missing or possibly doing something wrong ? I have following the vcdhelp guide of Instant Copy, so i dont know anything else to do. Is there another Tip or Trick i need to do ...? =)

Someone help me out here. Trial and Error. When an application take hours to complete, I'd expect it to size itself properly when you choose DVD output. I mean come on. How lame is this software. I sorry that I wasted my money. (going back to DVD2one = proper size on the first try and faster !)

If you remove everything (extras, etc) and all you have left is the movie which is at 100% (3.2gb), how can the movie get any bigger?
