    i have an avermedia studio capture card..

    for the most part it seems to be a nice card, it says it captures in

    mpg 2 format but nero wont take the file as a svcd file, says its not the right format

    i am not sure what to do about that...

    also, what can i use to edit out commercials of programs i capture...

    would like to capture episodes and edit out commercials etc and put several episodes on a dvd with sonic dvd which came with my burner..

    anyway, thanks for the help

    Run it through TMPG ENC. to end up as a svcd. You can edit out adverts in TMPG if you go to "merge and cut" in File/mpeg tools. You will end up with severall clips which you merge later (in same program)
