Im trying to rip a dvd. It is 4.30 gigs. I got this error message on both smart ripper and dvd decrypter. The error message is
" backup file VTS_01_0.bup should be identical to "VTS _01_0.ifo. dvd compliance test failed.
The whole dvd rips and plays fine. it just wont burn
Any suggestions?

What happens if you just copy the IFO file and rename it BUP ?
If that works then don't worry about it, although it would be nice to know where the difference came from. -
I had that same problem last night. The way that I got around it was, even though the movie is 4.3GB, run it through DVD2ONE and then burn to DVD. There is really no video quality lost. After I did that I had no problems.
