    Is there like a file size limit on the dvd-r's for data files? 1gig limit maybe? I hope not.

    I think its aprox 4.38 gig ( the size of the didk ) , if you have an ntfs file system partion on your hardrive as fat 32 will only allow files no bigger than 1 gig

    I got xp pro on NTCS. Thanks for the replay, I don't have enough stuff to fill a dvd yet, but some of my convertions were over a gig.
