Hey everyone I see these vivid color CD-Rs for sale on Ebay all the time. They look pretty nice but I was wondering if anyone has ever used them and how well they work?

No one has used colored CD-R before? I find this hard to believe. If so where did you get them and how well did they work?
Thanks -
uhm I've tried TDK blacks before but I guess that hardly counts. Looks like RIMA sells a 12 pack for cheap, just buy one and find out. Also use the ADVinfo tool to figure out who really manufactuers the disk when you get them.

I've used color CD-Rs. They were made by PNY and came in a 50-CD spindle with yellow, blue, red, purple, and pink. Used them to make audio CDs, VCDs, standard data CDs, and SVCDs. Not a single coaster out of the entire spindle (all burned at 8x), and they played fine in my computer, car CD player, and APEX DVD player. I only bought them because they were on sale at CompUSA, not because of the color, so I haven't used any more of them since.

Where do you find this tool to see who the manufacturer is?
