  1. Ok, I've got the endoding thing down, and able to fit on one disk. Problem though, is the movie speeds up and slows down throughout the movie, but the audio stays with it. Bigger problem, is that it makes cracking and popping noises, and I can't figure out how to eliminate it. Any help????

  2. Try going through the guid again and check for any visible mistakes and possible reading mistakes that you may have done. Also, have you defragged you drives lately?

  3. What program/s and settings are you using?

The video actually slows down and speeds up? That's not right, there's some problem there (prehaps with the framerate). As for the audio (assuming you are using TMPGenc) try using tooLame to encode your audio instead of the TMPGenc's internal engine.

  4. I forgot to add, when you're making it fit onto one CD, change the bitrate to constant instead of variable, that may fix the problem...

  5. Let me ask this. I've had some problems with my cd writer. I have a Teac 8X. Ever since I've installed Win XP, I can't get it to write any faster than 1X. Does anyone think that this could be a problem?

  6. Unless the movie only speeds up and slows down after it has been burned onto a CD, then I don't think that is the problem. Though, I would be concerned about that nonetheless.

  7. Ok, check this out. I re-encoded it, and it seems like everything is ok on my computer. I'm assuming that either the 1X speed that I burn at, or the Nero I use is corrupting it. Any ideas? A different way to convert to VCD first, and burn with WinXP? or another burn program???
