    Well, it depends:
    - on the size of the movie (who could have thought that?!
    Give us more details on the LENGTH of the movie, the FORMAT you want it to be encoded. THEN, we can answer your question...
    (You can find decent quality >2hr movies with size <700Mb... DivX does the magic...)

    My suggestion is when size counts, use 2-Pass VBR instead of what Sefy has (CQ_VBR I think).

    With 2-pass, you can use the bitrate calculators and get a better idea of what AVG bitrate to use. This THE only way (with off-spec VCD) to insure you don't go over the space on CD.

    Plus, you can have a MIN bitrate of 500, and a MAX as high as 2400 (not over if you have a Pioneer), and should result in higher quality. WARNING: IT TAKES TWICE AS LONG.
