i`m trying to convert an xvid to mpg, i`ve been through all the procedures laid out in the tutorials, ie converted the ac3 to wav
& i have all the codecs installed, it plays ok in media player
with tmpgenc it crashes straight away, either with the audio & video, or just the video (which suggests a problem with the video???)
with panasonic mpg enc it gets to a certain point, about 10mins in then crashes
any help greatly appreciated, the vid is rules of attraction btw, in case anyone else has had problems with this

I tried to use Mainconcept as well, but i have problems with the size of the movie. I mean , 16:9 is not enough, i need more stretched. What is the equivalent of TMPGEnc's " keep aspect ratio"? In Mainconcept you can only set on 16:9. Can anyone help me with this?
