  1. Is there any way to design a photo vcd that plays CDDA to a picture slide show?

I'm looking to make discs like this where you can put the cd in a DVD player and listen to my band play while watching a slide show AND be able to put the same disc in a cd player and listen to the music.

I'm trying not to have to duplicate the audio on the cd.

  2. I've never tried it but VCDEasy and Fireburner can.The VCD specs.allow
CDDA tracks but(AFAIK) no authoring programs support it.

  3. CD-DA audio tracks on a VCD to the best of my knowledge cannot be referenced (and hence accessed on playback) by the PBC.

Hence, the answer to your question on duplication of audio is "no".

  4. So the audio would have to go on twice.

Once would be playing during the photo slideshow in VCD format, and the other would be CDDA tracks accessable by a CD player.

That I know how to do, I was just trying to find out if I didn't have to put the same songs on the disc twice.

    Thanks
