    okay heres my dilemma...i used my digital camera to make a small movie clip. when i transfered it to my computer it was too dark(could barely see anything). now i was wondering what software i could use, if any, to brighten the video up so i can see whats happening. i have adobe premiere 6.5 if that will work.

    Try a program called DCE AutoEnhance which you can download from here:http://www.mediachance.com/dce/

    EDIT:Whoops, I just realized that you wanna clear out the video,not pictures so ignore this post.

    premiere should have a filter to make the video lighter. first make sure its not just your monitor. my computer monitor is darker than my tv so sometimes in a dark scene i can't see anything but i know its just my monitor. also take into account that no filter can help if the information isn't there. if the scene was poorly lit in the first place then theres nothing you can do but to take that into account the next time.

    well...i've never used premier so i dont really know wat i'm doing..lol...but i'll try to find a filter in there somewhere
