  1. Hi,

i have a demo version of roxio easy CD creator at home. I have an NEC ND- 1100a dvd writer which i also got with my dell. The version i have of roxio, only allows me to burn data dvds. My question is this,

    1) Once i have used programs (dvd decrypter/dvdxcopy) to rip my dvd to my hard drive, can i burn the Video_ts and Audio_ts folders to a dvd using the data dvd option on Easy cd creator, and will this work in my dvd player (standalone, i know the media works)????

    2) Also are these the required files for dvd, Video_TS and Audio_TS???? (i know that the video_ts folder is made up of vob files)

    3) is it possible to copy already ripped dvds in this way. I.e jus copy the two folders over to a blank dvd, would this work????

Thanx in advance for any replies

Yes.. Make sur not to delete the .IFO and .BUP files that are alongside the VOB's these tell the PLAYER that the DATA disc it is reading is A DVD
    and whow to play it.
Sometimes, I've had problems with SMARTRIPPER ..as it doesn't allways remove all REGION encoding..
So Open DECRYPTER, go to the TOOLS column, and region free your IFO's individually before burning..
My EZ CD burns work in a standalone fine
    I'm using 5.3.2.34
    and either a SONY DRU-500 or a PIONEER A03

  3. also when i use dvd decrypter it creates an iso file instead of VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS. What can i do with this iso file, can i burn dircet to dvd and expect it to play in my standalone dvd player, or must i play about with the file. Im confused, i thought Vide_ts and Audio-ts were required for dvd not and ISO file, can anyone advise pls????

    thanx

You'd burn the ISO back out using decryptor. See the guide

another was to burn iso is use a BURNING PROGRAM (not the decryter itself) that supports burning an .ISO

You drag the iso to the program in question
    NERO
or a more advanced EZ CD Creator (platinum, professional)

and the iso fleshes out to the many files that make up the DVD in the process of BURNING..
CDR win is a shareware one that does it
