  2. I have used ulead dvd movie factory for 4 weeks as a trial. It makes basic but very clear DVD copies of my old VHS tapes/ dv camcorder. However I find that using its presets avoids problemss, For highest quality use the 8000kb or for still good quality but more room on a DVD change down to the 6000kps. Your audio syn prob may well be a problem in the original simpson files capture process. My PC has POWERCINEMA software to capture TV via cable/compositie or SVHS. It seems to record these perfectly, and when those mopeg files atre added to ULEAD DVD MOVIEFACTORY, and then burned at 6 or 8k the DVD plays perfectly.(on my toshiba DVD. When I capture using eg Ulead DVD Moviefactory itself, and then burn at 6 or 8K to my dvd, there is often sync problems. I have no idea why that is. Try using DVD MOVIEFACTORY only to chop up and burn the original files. use something else to capture the files in teh 1st place. sorry I cant be more technical. uSE A dvd rw UNTIL YOU GET IT RIGHT. saves coaster
