    Hi All,

    I am just wondering if there is a way to figure out what is the region protection on a "DVD disc"? In other words, if I get a DVD movie from somewhere, can I find out what region the DVD disc is? Thanks.

    I use "DV Tool V0.049a". This displays much information about a DVD, including the region code. I do find it to be very good. Will also back-up a DVD.
    Problem is, I cannot remember where I got it from, Doom has an earlier version listed, suggest you do a search on the internet.

    I normally use DVD Decrypter for this (File | ISO Read mode). Very useful program.
