    If I have an MPEG-1 can I burn directly to a DVD disc using the right software?

    If not how do I convert MPEG-1 into MPEG-2?

    Some encoders claim to, like Nero, however, it has been known to cause problems in some attempts. I would suggest your encode it yourself using an encoder. See the Tools section at left. And please read the Newbie guides, not only do they answer such questions but also those you did not know you had.

    Yes, but you would have to convert the audio to 48000Hz.
