WinDVD no longer wants to play my DVDs from the hard disk, when I double click on the main IFO WinDVD loads but nothing else happens.

Also, my Lite-On DVD drive normally rips at 6-10x, but I was ripping a DVD-5 today and it only ripped at 2x. Could this be because it was a single layer disc, I can't see why it would. I reckon my DVD drive is busted!

If the drive is busted could this be why WinDVD is not playing ripped DVDs

    Any feedback would be great

Try rebooting; backtrack recent updates, installs.
