  1. It is actually DVD Backup that rips a perfect DVD folder that is typically (with most movies) over the capacity of the DVD-R. It is this folder when imaged that D+ is having the problem with. Results seem to be different every time, but it sure is fast when using an image rather than an actual disc. What is another program out there that creates and mounts disc images?

Disk Copy wouldn't make a UDF disk image, would it?
I like systems, their application excepted. (George Sand, translated from French), "J'aime beaucoup les systèmes, le cas d'application excepté."

  4. Umm, no, someone obviously hasn't tried it.

Stay focused. What are you trying to do here? I'm not certain that for this excersise UDF is needed, but...

  6. Isn't UDF the image that appears on the desktop like a mounted DVD? Sorry if that is my error. Toast is the only thing I know of (other than FAIR USE in OS9) that does that. D+ readily accepts and processes them into one big DVD folder that plays from the desktop but is too big to fit a DVD-R. (I wonder what happens if you image that and feed it back in?)
Kia, is there a minor fix third release out with the same version number/date or is it delayed?

    Is this file > 0K?

Tried "Yi Yi" again with the latest Disco+ (1.0.2). I get the same results as 1.0.1: it processes the whole VTS_01 series (which includes both the movie and the trailer), instead of extracting the first Title (the movie).

Subtitles are still dark blue. The sub.dat file is 4 KB.

Sometimes when Disco locks up, I can't trash the directory. Is there a technique for this?

    Thanks, Kai.

  9. Please email a detail report of Disco "locking up" to our support link, as we've never had this happen...are you *sure* its not still processing? The system won't let you delete a directory when files are still being worked on.

What stage is it stopping at? what dvd? is it consistent?

Please DO NOT respond here; it may not be read and is frankly the last place you should end up
