  1. I am having a problem with the TMPGEnc encoder. After the .mpg file is generated there is no sound what so ever. I loaded the .d2v file and the .wav file generated by dvd2avi but I dont know why for this particular vcd i am trying to make there is no sound. Any suggestions?

    Does the WAV have sound?
Have you set the output to system stream?

  3. the wav file does have sound. I did everything I was supposed to and how I have been doing it. For output, I demuxed to .wav and the .wav file is 320 kbps 48 kHz. but for some darn reason when I use tmpgenc and create the mpg there is no audio what so ever.

If it's 320 kbps, then it's no WAV. WAVs don't have bitrate. Maybe it's ac3 or mp3 - convert it to WAV first! (If you tell VDub to save audio stream, direct copy, it will save it with the extension .wav, regardless of the encoding in the AVI, which can be about anything - most often mp3, but ac3, .ogg etc are not that uncommon.)
