I'm trying to capture programs from the TV Card to put on to VCD, but everytime I use PowerVCRII it crashes the PC. Initailly it reset it, now that is turned off I get a blue screen instead. The problem can happen either when I launch PowerVCR, start recording or stop recording. I've got the latest drivers for the TV card, and have tried various graphic card drivers including the latest ones.
I recently reformatted the Hard-drive and did a clean install of XP, and only have XP with SP1 (all updated), MS Office 2000, AVG anti-virus, Kerio Firewall installed on the PC.
My hardware is:
Athlon 1.1Ghz CPU @266fsb

Gigabyte GA-7DXR motherboard with AMD761 chipset and running the latest F10a BIOS.

Toshiba 12x DVD-ROM Drive
