I am not such a newbie, but the question I have is this:
After downloading a .AVI file and use TMPGenc to convert the file to MPEG and then use the EZ CD 5.3x to burn, It will not allow me to burn, due to a "System Clock Refernce" problem. If I re-convert the .mpg files again, it will then allow me to burn. Is there something that I am missing here, is there anyone else out there that is/has experienced the same thing ?
I am running a AMD 1G T-Bird, 196Mb RAM, 40G HD, and a TNT2 32Mb Video Card. M/B is a GigaByte GA-7zm.
Thanks...

This is a bug that I have noticed at least on some versions of TMPGenc. If you encode audio and video together, the resulting mpg program stream is often non-compliant. To fix this you can just demultiplex (In TMPGenc, go file/mpeg tools/simple demultiplex) and then remultiplex (In TMPGenc, go file/mpeg tools/simple multiplex).
If you remultiplex your mpg using the standard vcd output setting than you will no longer get this system clock reference error.
The best way to avoid this problem is to encode audio and video separately and then multiplex in the end. -
"System Clock Refernce" error by ezcd sounds like you changed your system time since you registered (just a wild guess) :|
