  1. Hi.
Ive just convert an .avi to a .m2v and .wav with TEMPGenc to problem is that the .m2v file got a little to big 4.24 Gb and i compressed the wav file so much i dont think i can compress it more .wav into .ac3 with 112kb bitrate. So when i use Spruceup to convert the .m2v and .ac3 to some .vobs and stuff it cant be burned tried to use nero, instant cd/dvd and spruce Up.Any idea on what i should do?I dont want to run it in TMPGEnc again last time it took about 20 hours so.

Perhaps split it into 2 discs using TMPGEnc with the MPEG Tools (split & merge)? Just a thought ...........

I would compress the audio to MPEG-2 Layer II at 64kbps joint Stereo (with Tmpgenc).

Start Tmpgenc, Clear the input video and audio, select the WAV audio file, go to settings and select the lower bitrate.

People may disagree that MPEG-2 Layer II will have a low sound quality, but it doesn't. TMpgenc has a good quality audio compressor and is also fast. On a P3/1000 machine should take you something like 25 minuts for two hours of movie.
The more I learn, the more I come to realize how little it is I know.
