CCE + Instant copy + Menu

Hi, I'm after a little help please. What i'm trying to do here is to copy the basic menu structure from a DVD to add to a re-muxed film i have. The method i have used so far is to demux with smartripper to get rid of the extras etc and then re-muxed back into vob's using IFOEdit. Then for the menu's i have used InstantCopy to get the menu's from the original DVD, from what i can figure i have the correct menu's allready for me to somehow 'insert' the re-muxed film into.

Am i doing this the correct way, will this work ? The reason i'm trying to do it this way is so i can CCE the main movie (insted of letting Instant copy TRY to do it for me and fcuk up the size) and then use the menu's that IC creates. I'm assuming i'd need to use IFOUpdate somehow ? I've had a quick try and end up with a mess If anyone could point me in the right direction i'd be gratefull.
