  1. Example: Decrypted XXX movie files designated by dvd decrypter. I have one ifo and four vob files all adding to under 4.7 gb. All in a Video_TS folder.
I know this is such a newbie question but why can't i just burn that as a data disc and finalize it on EzCD Creator 6? To me it seems like it should play in a standalone player. Can I create a iso file of that Video_TS folder then burn it in dvd decrypter? If that's the answer how do i create that iso file? I'm seriously confused and I hate making coasters!
    Thanks for any helps.

  2. hi m8

if its under 4.7 gig then just read in iso mode then write in iso mode with dvddecrypter straight to dvdr

  3. I also use ifoedit to create a dvd image and burn. Like if the movie is over
4.7 GB and I have to use dvd2one. Just make an .img file and you can burn with the decryptor. Hope this helps

  4. Thanks leatherface but it was a 2 layer dvd where the movie part was under 4.7gb. I'm only taking the movie file and leaving the rest so that means i can't make a straight disc image (iso).
I think I found a answer to my question here:

Still want to know if anyone has a more straight forward approach.

12 gage. I'm wondering if your answer might fix this. I'll try your method with IFOedit.

    Thanks for all the help.

  5. It's driving me nuts. I don't understand why burning a VIDEO _TS folder to a dvdr as data is any different than burn an image (iso) to a dvdr that produces the same looking VIDEO_TS folder. Could someone please explain that to me. Samething with my home videos... it produces the same looking folder with a ifo and vob's files. Does burning an image add something that isn't seen when you look at the existing files on a working dvdr?

    Thanks for any help.

  6. Also if you look at the tutorial it states that you should use DVDMaestro but it's gone. Does anyone know where to get it or what other prog I could use to produce the same outcome?

  7. Thanks for all the help. I finally made my first backup of a movie. It contains the full resolution movie, one language audio and subpicture and chapters. No menu. Is there a way to keep the use of the menu for quick access to the chapters instead of have to go through them one by one while watching the movie?

BTW I went with EnemyWithin's tutorial that is half way down on this thread

    Burned with Roxio.
