  1. hello. .ive a 748m/b mpeg file and would like to put it on 2 discs as my burner won't overburn. .is it possible to do this>>??.if so would some kind expert please advise me ..many thanks for any help supplied..

    What are you burning the MPEG file as?

    If you are burning as either a VCD or SVCD then this will fit on an 80min (700mb) CD - in these formats you can get up to 800mb+ on the CD, but if you are only using 74min CDs then yes you need to split it as the most you can fit (without overburn) is 740mb.

    If you are just copying the file to CD as data then you can only fit 700mb on the 80min and 650mb on the 74min disk.

    If you still need to split the file then you can use the 'MPEG TOOLS' in TMPGEnc to cut the file into 2.
