When editing a movie clip to remove unwanted portions does this not cause an IVTC filter, when needed, to have a high probability of becoming out of sync? After thinking about this I took a close look at some of my cut and spliced raw clips and sure enough the 3-2-3-2 pattern was made out of sync. This IS a problem, correct? Seems to me that I would either have to encode the entire movie first then cut-n-splice OR manually inspect the raw movie edits and make sure that these cuts are in sync.
Another filter question... Should the interlaced source check box be activated on filters such as "Smart Smoother" even if a de-interlace filter is applied first?
Any information and suggestions are greatly appreciated!
Regards,
Golem
