Well, this is odd. In either Win98 or Win2K, I can capture using Huffy codec at 352x288 from my digital TV source with only 1 frame lost for every 5 mins captured, but when I capture with the same settings from VHS, (an old tape of Dogtanian & The 3 Muskerhounds believe it or not!), frames drop like crazy! I've checked system resources and I have 73% free... is this good or bad.
System is:
AMD Athlon 550 Clocked to 750Mhz
512Megs PC133 Ram
IBM 60GXP 40Gig HD
AIW Radeon with MMC7.1 & Latest drivers
Asus K7V Mobo
Direct X 8a (with capture patch for Win2K)
Any help would be great! Cheers!
