I just dont understand this. The movie looks fine in AVI. I convert it to MPEG. When its converted it looks fine at first. After about 5-10 minutes through, there is like a video glitch where everything is like purple and green. After that it looks fine but the audio is way off. I can't figure out how to correct this. Any help????

hey... try setting the 'motion search precision' to highest... it's takes longer though.. if u want ur sound to stay correct first rip the sound off with virtua dub. it makes a wav. then load tmpg and open the vid and wav. file... maybe u should read the tmpg stuff on this site first!...
