Is there a software Windows DVD player that supports SUBTITLES? I want to verify the subtitles I ripped look good before burning to a DVD-R, and always burning to a DVD-RW takes too long. I have WinXP and currently use WinDVD 4, a friend uses PowerDVD 4, and I don't think either one supports displaying subtitles. Thanks!

The 2 pieces of software are the best 2 on the market, and i can gaurantee that both of them support subtitles 100%!!I have them both!!!
if they are not displaying the subtitles then try right clicking on the screen while it is playing your movie and going into the options/configurations. if there is no option in there, then try using the control display for each software and have a look in all the options there. if this doesn;t work then it prob means that you havn't used the software to open both the movie file & subtiltes at the same time m8 -
Thanks guys, you are (of course) absolutely right! I never realized that I could turn on subtitles in WinDVD! Boy is my face red! Thanks!
