baldricks guide to convert vcd to dvd

Hello Mr Baldrick , I've followed this guide, using ulead movie factory 2, is it normal for the coversion process to taks more than 18 hrs for a 4. 6 gig movie ?????? or am I missing something. My system is an athlon xp 1800 , with 1 gig o ram.

No it isn't. Have you checked so the source vcd mpeg files size is equal to the output size? Or else will moviefactory reencode.
