Ok I've tried this out a few times and it works for me.
I'm thinking that it is too easy and something must be wrong here so critique away! But please when you are doing so, stay with these programs!!
I'm open for anything constructive here.
1) Rip to harddrive using either dvddecrypter or smart ripper.
I rip the whole dvd in file mode.
2) Edit the files in IfoEdit so that the disc will start with the root menu.
(No warnings, no intros, just straight to the root menu)
3) Check to see if it will play in WinDVD (IfoEdit player or PowerDVD)
4) Use Instant Copy 7 to shrink and burn.
(using just the default settings, I changed nothing!!)
What did I miss here? I cannot be this easy.
Anything you guys see that is wrong here.
I've done this with about a dozen discs so far and they all work.
Movies, Episode discs, concert footage discs, same outcome.
Please point out things I need to look out for.
