    When re encoding a file using VDub is I chose 5.03 divx for the video. What if any video compression will give me the best sound clarity.

    I think you mean audio compression!

    Well, for true quality, you con't beat no compression (PCM). After that, higher bitrate mp3 (256kbps or more) is pretty good. Of course it will never be better than the source.

    Yes meant audio compression. But how can I enhace audio. I find soemtimes that the music is to loud over the words is there a way of enhancing voice.
