  1. Is it possible to re-encode a mpg2 so it's formatted for an iPAQ. I know there are KVCD for PPCs, but I'm not too sure whether they work. For example, I tried to re-encode the first minute of Star Wars and that totaled just over 50Meg. Now I'm no rocket scientist but if i multiply that by 120 mins I don't get a very small file.

Basically what i'm trying to do is (as an experiment) is see if it's possible to squeeze a filem onto my FlashDisk.

Any help in this would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

    IndyUK,

I haven't encoded anything for my 5450 yet, but I have seen many threads about it on the brighthand forum. I reccommend you do a search there.

  3. Go here: http://www.mpegtv.com/wince/pockettv/ and download PocketTV player. It's free. You can use the KVCD PocketPC templates, and you can fit a movie in ~128MB. I encoded the complete "The Matrix" with audio at 64Kbps ( as per suggestions from the administrator at that site ) and it looks great on a PocketPC
