  1. I used TMPGEnc to convert a .dat to .mpg. The .dat has 2 audio (left speaker and right speaker) but the resultant .mpg only has one. I would like to record the other audio instead. I couldn't find any option in TMPGEnc to pick the audio track.

    Thanks.

Try clicking on the "De-multiplex" Tab in MPEG Tools.

Once you de-multiplex your file, you will have 1 video file and 2 audio files that you were talking about.

  4. Thank you for your info. However, I cannot find the "De-multiplex" Tab. Is this the MPEG Tool you were talking about?

  6. I found the MPEG Tool under File. However after I loaded the file, there are only one video and one audio stream.

  10. I figured out a way to do it now. I can use VirtualDub to 'save as wav' and then use this wav file as the audio source for TMPGEnc. The resultant mpg would have both audio streams.

    Thanks for your help anyways.
