Pauses/Sound clicks at chapter points-Pinnacle Express

I have Pinnacle Studio 7+ Pinnacle Express.

Express causes pauses (and nasty sound clicks) at the chapter points if the DVD is played through the chapters end to end.

Pinnacle forum admits this(caused by indivual files for the chapters) and advises use less menu buttons!

Do all consumer authoring software packages work this way?

I would like to edit in Studio 7 and export (avi) to any authoring program that avoids the above problems.

Please advise/recommend of any such software.

Here is sugestion. Try Studio8 that does authoring too.
